Join us for our next community film night on Wednesday 24th June 2026.

We will be showing H is for Hawk cert 12A), a moving and beautifully filmed story of grief, healing and the extraordinary bond between humans and nature. Following the personal loss of her father, Helen (played by Claire Foy) embarks on an unexpected journey training a goshawk, discovering resilience, hope and a new way of seeing the world. An inspiring and thought-provoking film that will stay with you long after the credits roll.

COMMUNITY CINEMA An initiative to hold monthly film shows was taken some time ago as part of a scheme to raise sufficient funds to install tiered seating in the main hall. Although the scheme was successful and the project completed, the popularity of the film nights was such that requests were made to continue with the arrangement. As a result, films are regularly shown on the last Wednesday of each month. At times we may hold films on other nights. Films specifically for children are also shown from time to time.
